To raise funds for our program of Community Solidarity (Asistencia Social) each year we host several benefit events.

Dinner Dance
 
This event will be held at 20:00 on Tuesday 22 May 2007 in the Salón Libertador of the Hotel Sheraton, Retiro. At this time we are still making plans for a wonderful evening. Watch this space for more details and for the date when tickets go on sale.

  
International Tea and Fashion Show
 
Our annual Tea and Fashion Show is scheduled for 15:00 on Wednesday 10 October 2007. It will take place in the Salón Libertador of the Hotel Sheraton, Retiro. The fashions will be provided by two leading fashion designers and the tea is offered directly from the kitchens of all the embassies making it a truly international buffet. More details of how and when to buy tickets will be posted on this website closer to the date.

For both these major events we seek the support of local and international businesses to provide us with products and services which we use as prizes for the lotteries conducted at the events to raise further money. The prizes and the sponsors are listed in the program of the event. If you can help in this regards, please contact the ADEA office.


  
Monthly Bridge Teas
 
On the second Tuesday of each month from March to November an Embassy Residence is opened for a bridge tournament professionally organized with prizes for the winners. An excellent afternoon tea is provided. This monthly tournament is open to all. There is a fee of $35 to play. For further information, please contact the office of ADEA.



The Annual Magazine
  
Each year we prepare a glossy magazine with a changing theme. Each Embassy contributes a page which reveals more of their country through that theme. The magazine is widely distributed and very popular. We seek support from businesses which buy advertising space in our magazine.
